Photo of JamesJames has scripted brand-building campaigns for clients such as Budweiser, SBC, Virgin, GM, Baskin Robbins, Whiskas, Mars Inc. and others. He's worked at major agencies in cities including Los Angeles, NYC, Boston, St. Louis and San Francisco. He also taught "Advertising Concept" at Art Center in Pasadena for three years.

More recently he's been involved with on and off-line projects for Microsoft, Logitech, Estancia, Dux Beds and Ex'pression College. In all this time he's never uttered the words "Let's just go with a catchy jingle."

Over the years James has created advertising that has won awards from Clio, One Show, Best of Show National Addy's, International Film & TV Festival, Belding, Effie, Mobius, New York Festivals, London Intl. Advertising Awards, Mercury Radio Awards, Hollywood Radio & Television plus ADWEEK's "10 Best TV Spots of the Nineties." Other than writing, two of his favorite pursuits are hiking up mountains and playing guitar, which he doesn't ordinarily do at the same time.
